YOLO: You Don’t Only Live Once

There has been this phrase that I have heard time and again: You Only Live Once. For earthly conscious people, yes it may seem so. Do all you can do, have all the fun you can before you exit the earth. And most often than not it is tied to immorality than morality. For heaven conscious people, that are living for Christ, you don’t live once. Time is just a tiny fraction of what we will live in eternity.

I have been in a circle of friends where they will say have all the fun you can. Drink all the beer you can, have all the sex you want with all the beautiful girls you can. Get all the money you can and forget there is God always watching. When I tried to enrich that kind of lifestyle, I got into trouble in 2015 but God saved me.

Whenever you look at our world, that is what it is all about. People making practice of sinning because they believe they will only live once. You cannot be living for only this moment, there is much more beyond here. No one ever lived in this world twice but there is an eternity we must set our gaze on.

There is an eternity to live for and live in. What is the quality of your life, what is the quantity of the Holy Spirit inside of you? You don’t want to shrink back when you see Jesus. We should live for eternity because we will live in it.

Don’t let the world define you, you are what God says you are and you are who God says you are. Lady, the world has defined you for too long, would you just come up, come up to Jesus. Young man, the world has defined you for too long with drugs, beer, money, sex and power, would you just come up to Jesus. Parents, the quality of your built life in Jesus for eternity is the same quality your children will get to become.

You don’t only live once. You live for Jesus, there is a life after this life we are all living for. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one or no means to the Father except through Him.

Are you living for eternity or are you just living for here?
